The objective of the Oklahoma Federation of Indian Women shall be to create a bond of friendship among the members, to promote action of purpose in preserving the cultural heritage and identity of each Indian tribe, and to develop ways of depicting the Indian woman as taking her place in the world of today.

OFIW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered with the state of Oklahoma. Founded in 1969, OFIW works to promote action with a purpose in preserving the cultural heritage and identity of each Indian tribe, and to develop ways of depicting the Indian woman as taking her place in the world today. OFIW members and titleholders come from across Oklahoma representing many different tribes. OFIW holds several fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for our annual events. We recognize the importance of these events and strive to make each year a greater success.
